Hello and welcome to Hidden Staircase. Why Hidden Staircase? That was the name of my first Nancy Drew book. The Hidden Staircase introduced me to my favorite girl sleuth, starting my love affair with a good mystery. I’ve been on goodreads.com for five years now, and it’s been a lot of fun finding new books and reviewing them.

I started this blog for armchair detectives like myself who are looking for their next great read. While the majority of the time I will be reading and reviewing some sort of mystery, other books do sneak in now and again. I tend to be a “serial reader” – when I find a great cast of characters, I enjoy sticking with them for more mysteries. I also tend to read more than one book at a time, and listen to an audio book in the car. So many books, so little time!
