Almost 30 years ago I read my first Nancy Drew book, "The Hidden Staircase." I've had a love affair with mysteries ever since. -Kristi.

5/5 Stairs to #findingfreedommemoir by Erin French. Loved this inspiring story of resilience and hope. You can read my full review over at www.hiddenstaircase.net. Eating at @thelostkitchen is now on my bucket list, what an experience that would be!
One of my favorite audio book genres to listen to are memoirs read by the author. I own this physical book, but I’ve been on my library’s waitlist for the audio book for months. (I’ll pop in and out of my copy to note passages or read something again as I listen.) I thought Michelle Obama’s audio book was long - Barack Obama’s is over 29 hours! Wow. The book is clocking in at 701 pages (plus acknowledgments). And in this prologue he states he has so much to say about his time in the presidency that he had to split this memoir into two volumes. Super excited to listen to this first one, although it’s going to take a while to get through. :) Hopefully I can finish before it’s due.
Baby,it’s cold outside... and seems like the perfect day to cuddle up with a good mystery! Can’t wait to start this latest Lane Winslow mystery by @itwhishaw
Bookmail is my favorite kind of mail, and a surprise #bookmail is even better! So excited to receive #HopelessRomanticNovel from @kensingtonbooks This looks like the perfect read for the romantically fun month of February! Can’t wait to start this one. ❤️
