Recent Reads: Four Great Thrillers

December 11, 2020 / beckmank / Leave a comment

Four great thrillers that I've read in 2020. All four have two things in common: They have multiple narrators, and they are all page turners.

Puzzling Ink: A Mini-Review.

4.5/5 Stairs. Set in a small town just outside of Denver, Colorado, Puzzling Ink is a fun, easy cozy mystery to read.

In Five Years. An unexpected love story.

October 14, 2020October 11, 2020 / beckmank / 5 Comments

5/5 Stairs. I loved Rebecca Serle's The Dinner List so much, that I knew I had to read In Five Years. When I picked up this book, I thought it was a romance. When I finished this book, I knew it was actually a love story. The greatest love story. And it was completely unexpected.

Traveling today and I brought this book with me! I love the cover and am really looking forward to starting EVERYTHING’S FINE by @cesafras . This one seems hard to categorize - it sounds like it will be so much more than a romance; to quote the author, “what if this isn’t a love story that asks will they, but should they?” I can’t wait to dive in!
I love ordering from @summershirtproject ! I have a bunch of different Be Kind to Everyone t-shirts in my closet, I’m so happy to add this nice soft, lightweight hoodie to my collection. I ordered a surprise pack and love the color I got! Thanks Jordyn! ❤️ #bekindtoeveryone #summershirtproject #jordynssummershirtproject
Not book related! BUT…My husband and I were so lucky to be at Ball Arena last night to watch the Denver Nuggets win Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals! I don’t post a lot of personal stuff here, but I had to share with you all.
The description of Magpie by @elizabday sounds so good…and it’s on sale this month!
