About

Almost 30 years ago I read my first Nancy Drew book, "The Hidden Staircase." I've had a love affair with mysteries ever since. -Kristi.

Just finished the audio book on this one. Wow. 5/5 Stairs to #daisyjonesandthesix . I loved the set up. The story of the rise and fall of the 1970’s rock band The Six, told through interviews with the band members and people close to them. This felt so real as I began reading that I actually had to Google to see if this was fiction or non-fiction. (It is indeed fiction.) Listening to the audio book was such a treat. Every character is voiced by a different narrator. It felt like I was listening to a documentary on TV. Loved the story and the pace of the novel. I could almost hear the songs coming off the page. My only regret is that Daisy Jones and The Six are not real to hear their music, hold their album in your hands, and look up video of the live performances online. Ms. Reid fully immersed me in this fictional world. Highly, highly recommend this one. ... #fiction #fictionbooks #audiobooks #rocknroll #documentarystyle #contemporaryfiction #bookstagram
I’ve got an hour to wait while my boys are at jazz band rehearsal, which is the perfect time to enjoy an eggnog latte and dive into the latest Jack Reacher adventure.

Having fun seeing what the Sanderson sisters are up to in the Hocus Pocus sequel. Perfect pre-Halloween reading. #currentlyreading #whatamireading #halloweenreads #yabooks #yareads #bookstagram #bookcovers
