Time for another Music Monday brought to you by Always Me.
Rules from Lauren:
Every Monday share one or two of songs you’ve been enjoying lately. It doesn’t have to be a specific genre, new, or one of your favorites – just something you’d like to share with others. If possible, share a music or lyric video of the song and your thoughts on the song(s), artist(s), and/or music video(s).
If you would like to participate in Music Monday, please join the link up by sharing your post’s url over at this week’s post on Always Me.
Hello! Welcome to another Music Monday!
I love to hear covers of other songs and how artists interpret the music in different ways. This week I’m featuring a cover that I’ve been enjoying for quite a few years now – so long in fact that I forgot where I originally heard it. (Thanks to YouTube I now remember it was the TV show Parenthood.) As I searched the internet for this cover, I realized there are a lot of covers for this particular song. I listened to a few of them, but this version by the Lennings is still my favorite. (Also, what’s the deal with this video?!)
You’re the One that I Want – The Lennings
And, of course, the original film version from Grease
So – which do you like better?
Confession: I like them both. Happy Monday!
I love the Grease version! That song will be in my head now, but anytime I hear a Grease song that happens. 🙂 I didn’t know it had that many covers!

Sorry to give you an ear worm! I had no idea it had so many covers either until I Googled it. I thought the version I was looking for would pop right up. That did not happen. 😉
