Thanks to Study. Read. Write. for tagging me in this fun book tag!
Would you rather only read trilogies or only read stand-alones?
Trilogies! I am a serial reader simply because when I enjoy the characters in a book, I want to spend more time with them. I do enjoy stand-alones too, but since you’re making me pick…
Would you rather only read male or female authors?
I love both equally (and I don’t ever accept or reject a book based on author gender), but if you’re going to make me pick I guess I would go with female authors. I mean, I can keep Harry Potter (and Cormoran Strike!), Inspector Lynley, Hamish Macbeth, Kinsey Milhone. But I would really miss Harry Bosch, Mickey Haller, and Agent Pendergast. Don’t make me choose!
Would you rather shop at Barnes and Noble or Amazon?
Amazon. Simply because with my busy life it’s so easy to click and order the books. But really my favorite spot would be when I have time to head to a locally owned book store and browse.
Would you rather books were made into TV shows or movies?
Really it depends on the book. Some books (or series) make better TV shows, and some better movies. If I have to pick (I guess I do with this tag), I’ll say movies.
Would you rather read only 5 pages per day or 5 books per week?
How is this even a question? I mean, unless your books are only like a page each. 5 books per week. Duh.
Would you rather be a professional author or reviewer?
Professional Reviewer. If I could make money reading books, that would be a dream job.
Would you rather be a librarian or a bookseller?
Librarian. My grandmother was a librarian. I love volunteering in my boys’ school library.
Would you rather read only your favorite genre, or every other genre but your favourite?
Only my favorite genre. Hands down. I need at least some element of mystery in the books I read, but the mystery genre by far is my favorite.
Would you rather only read ebooks or physical books?
Physical books. I love the feel of the pages and the smell of the book. You don’t get that with ebooks.
I tag (totally disregard if you don’t want to do the tag):
- Been There, Read That
- Erika @ Rickus Bookshelf
- Kayla @ Mindcrazed
- Erika @ The Book’s the Thing
- …And anyone else who wants to do this tag!
Awesome answers! And thank you for playing along! 🙂

This is always such a good tag. I think I would have to go with standalones because I hate being disappointed in follow ups and ending in series. Totally agree with you on Amazon – it is just too easy! Great answers!

Great tag! I’m definitely with you on Amazon. I love the convenience of it and then it’s like Christmas when the package comes even if I’m getting something incredibly boring. And of course 5 books! I wish I could do that now!
