Ready Player One. A Mini Review.

November 7, 2016 / beckmank / 7 Comments

5/5 Stairs. I highly recommend Ready Player One, and if you can, listen to the audio. Wil Wheaton is a fantastic narrator.

Elijah Dart: Angel of Death By Jonathan L. Ferrara Combined Rating: 4.5/5 Stairs (My rating: 4/5 Stairs, My son's rating: 5/5 Stairs) I should tell you that I finished this book a few weeks ago, but was waiting for my 6th grade son to get a chance to read it before I posted this review. … Continue reading Elijah Dart: Angel of Death

TBT: Peter and the Starcatchers

April 23, 2015April 22, 2015 / beckmank / 4 Comments

Today's Throw Back Thursday read is actually what inspired my post yesterday, For the Love of (Audio) Books. Once my boys and I had finished listening to the first three Harry Potter books, we were in a real bind. We enjoyed listening to books in the car, but what to listen to next? My youngest … Continue reading TBT: Peter and the Starcatchers

Traveling today and I brought this book with me! I love the cover and am really looking forward to starting EVERYTHING’S FINE by @cesafras . This one seems hard to categorize - it sounds like it will be so much more than a romance; to quote the author, “what if this isn’t a love story that asks will they, but should they?” I can’t wait to dive in!
I love ordering from @summershirtproject ! I have a bunch of different Be Kind to Everyone t-shirts in my closet, I’m so happy to add this nice soft, lightweight hoodie to my collection. I ordered a surprise pack and love the color I got! Thanks Jordyn! ❤️ #bekindtoeveryone #summershirtproject #jordynssummershirtproject
Not book related! BUT…My husband and I were so lucky to be at Ball Arena last night to watch the Denver Nuggets win Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals! I don’t post a lot of personal stuff here, but I had to share with you all.
The description of Magpie by @elizabday sounds so good…and it’s on sale this month!
