Time for another Music Monday brought to you by Always Me.

Rules from Lauren:
Every Monday share one or two of songs you’ve been enjoying lately.  It doesn’t have to be a specific genre, new, or one of your favorites – just something you’d like to share with others.  If possible, share a music or lyric video of the song and your thoughts on the song(s), artist(s), and/or music video(s).

If you would like to participate in Music Monday, please join the link up by sharing your post’s url over at this week’s post on Always Me.

Music Monday: Led Zeppelin Edition.

Many of you don’t know that along with being a reader, blogger, mother, and technical writer that I am also a musician. Two of my favorite evenings a week you can find me practicing with one of my two handbell choirs.

One of my choirs is getting ready for our spring concert season that happens in early May, and one of the pieces we are practicing is Led Zeppelin’s Stairway to Heaven.

Now I know many of you are probably thinking that Led Zeppelin and handbells don’t mix. Let me assure you, you are wrong. At least with Stairway to Heaven. It has transposed beautifully to handbells. And it also has Led Zeppelin on my brain.

So this week for Music Monday I give you two of my absolute favorite Zeppelin songs, Over the Hills and Far Away and Tangerine. It’s so hard to just pick two!

I love the studio version, but it’s fun to see them live in concert.

What are you listening to this week?

    • It is tough to just pick two Zep songs. So many good ones. I’ve been listening to a playlist. 🙂 Stairway to Heaven sounds so cool on the bells! I told some friends and they looked at me like I was crazy. LOL.
