Top Ten Tuesday (TTT) brought to you by The Broke and the Bookish.
March 21: Read In One Sitting Theme: ten of the shortest books I’ve read, top ten books I read in one sitting, ten books to read when you are short on time, top ten books that will make you read the whole day away, etc.
Which way to go this week? There are so many possibilities. Short books? Or books you can’t put down? Fun mysteries? Memoirs?
I tried to pick just one category. Really, I did. But there are so many great books to highlight. So this week, I’m doing a smorgasbord for my top ten list. That’s right, you get a little bit of everything. Lucky ducks.
Now, shall we begin?
Top Ten Smorgasbord
Some of these can easily be finished in a day, others are just hard to put down. I also went a little over ten. Okay, like 50% over. I’ve got 15 books here, people. Don’t judge.

Did you finish it in one night? I definitely did not. (I was dealing with a toddler and baby when it came out, so I did my best. LOL)

Dude, I’ve only read one book on this list! LOL. (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.) A couple on the list look good though!

The one on this list that interests me the most is by Wil Wheaton. I think I knew he’d written something, but now I want to find and read them.

I love Wil’s writing. He is a terrific blogger. I haven’t followed him as much in the last few years, but his writing is at it’s best when it is a personal story.

LOVED The Secret Place and Big Litte Lies as page turners. I definitely read TFIOS in a day or around there. Let’s Pretend This Never Happened is such a great listen!! I am working my way to the last HP – I am on book 5!!

Oh I love Harry Potter! The last three books are huge – so not finish in a day, but definite page turners. (Well, 6 and 7 were for me. 5 was a little on the long side. But stick with it! 😉 )

I so agree about Big Little Lies! And I’ve been meaning to try Tana French after seeing good reviews… I was not aware of her before I started a blog.

I’ve only read the two most recent Tana French books, but I really enjoyed both of them. They are great Scotland Yard thrillers. I didn’t know about her and last year I randomly selected The Secret Place audio book at the library.

I wish I could have read Deathly Hallows in one sitting! The best I’ve ever done is 3.

I didn’t read it in one sitting for sure – my oldest was a toddler, and my youngest was a baby when it came out, but I do remember it was *really* hard to put it down. 🙂

Love your smorgasboard! The Gretchen Archer is on my TBR as is Big Little Lies. Actually looking back over it just about all these are on my TBR so glad to see they made your list! I’m looking forward to reading them.

This is a great list! I’ve read TFIOS, Eleanor & Park, and Harry Potter, and I definitely agree with you on those. I need to start working on some of the rest! 🙂

Big Little Lies is fantastic! She tackles a pretty serious subject, but manages to keep the book funny throughout. I’ve enjoyed all the books I’ve read by Ms. Moriarty, but Big Little Lies is by far my favorite one.
