TTT: New Year, New Books

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday (TTT) brought to you by The Broke and the Bookish.

This week we are looking to the future! In the form of books being released in the first half of 2016. Three confessions to make here.

  1. I only have a list of seven books this week.
  2. The majority of these books are the latest in a series.
  3. I did have to include one TV special.

I’m sure there are tons of books out there with a release date of somewhere in between January and June 2016 that will be fabulous, wonderful reads. I just don’t know about them yet. Thus, my list primarily consists of series I enjoy and I want to read the next installment.

I can’t wait to see other TTT lists this week to find out what I am missing! I know you all will have great recommendations for me.

  1. I’m soooooo excited about “Sherlock”!!! I love all things Victorian and I love Sherlock, so really, what could possibly be better?! I’ll have to check out “A Study in Charlotte” (which, coincidentally, is a play off a Sherlock Holmes title; maybe it’s meant to be?!) — I’ve seen it on several TTT lists today.

  2. This was a hard list for me initially, because I didn’t really know the release dates, so I just went with whatever. If it was in 2016 I was good. 🙂 I’ve heard good things about Jacqueline Winspear, and read a really interesting interview with her. I’ve never read Steve Berry either, but the 14th Colony looks interesting.

  3. I think you have a great list here! My series are slowly disappearing, so it’s about time I start looking for new ones. I may have to check out some of yours.

Thanks for stopping by and have an amazing week!

  4. Great list! I tend to only keep track of new releases that are next in series as well. I’ll also keep track of upcoming releases if I really love the author, but am bad about keeping tabs on new releases outside of that.
