TTT: Ten Books I Plan to Have in My Beach Bag this Summer

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday (TTT) brought to you by The Broke and the Bookish.

With the long (US) holiday weekend (and loads of personal stuff, I’ve barely been home), I didn’t have much time to sit down and work on this TTT post, so it is going to be short and sweet my friends.

Ten Books I Plan To Have In My Beach Bag This Summer

or Ten Books I Think Make Great Beach Reads

Beach Reads…I will say for me any book is a beach read. I’ve been known to sit poolside with a huge Elizabeth George Inspector Lynley Scotland Yard 600+ page hardback in my hands. So really, any book is a beach book for me. Here’s some of the lighter fare I’d like to tackle this summer. Please note that some of my books were on my list last summer. (And possibly the summer before that. 😉  )

  1. I’ve had the Veronica Mars books on my list as well. I really need to get around to them!

I will be interested to see how my summer reading develops. I often get distracted from my initial list!

  2. Looks like we have three in common for the summer! I also really want to read Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, it sounds like a fantastic read (and I’ve heard it’s one of the best ya LGBTQ books out there)!

  3. I’ve been curious about the Veronica Mars books, as I’ve heard good things. And A Dangerous Place looks good also.

Love your header by the way- those old Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys cover are favorites of mine. 🙂

    • I loved the Veronica Mars TV show. I don’t know if I would read the books without the background of the three seasons and the movie.
Thanks! (re:header) I love my Nancy Drew collection. ❤

  4. Oh these look like really fun, light reads. I’ve had ‘Where’d You Go, Bernadette’ on my shelf for years! One of these days it’ll be time to read it… 😀
